Inspired by Japanese ukiyo-e traditions and Japanese landscapes, this artwork combines a contemporary illustration style with centuries-old craftsmanship. The result is a composition with soft gradients and layered colors that feels calm, immersive, and rich in detail.
Created in collaboration with Kyoto-based woodblock master Kenji Takenaka, a fifth-generation printmaker who introduced me to the craft. Together with his team, more than 30 individual woodblocks were carved to produce this edition. Each print is inked by hand, with every color applied through a separate woodblock impression.

All Prints are hand signed & numbered by the artist Vexx.
Each print is handmade and therefore one of a kind. Subtle variations in color, texture, paper, and printing details are not considered defects and are a natural part of the process and contribute to the unique character of every piece.
