'The Red Hunter' pays homage to a pair of motifs all but synonymous with Vexx’s influential practice – a tiger as centerpiece, surrounded by colorful and playful doodles. "Tigers are the most important animal in my life, a common theme in many of my most important works. This artwork encapsulates the joy, anger and hunger I felt throughout 2021 and 2022. The innocence of the doodles are in stark contrast with the reality of a threatening tiger. " -Vexx
